The bigger your ego, the more you turn people away. Having a big ego makes you appear arrogant and unapproachable. It’s easy to feel like a big deal when you are successful but remember that you have a long way to go.

I have had times where I try to 1 up people or make it about me because of my insecurities and ego.

Don’t let your success hurt you. By feeing that ego, you make yourself a lot more unapproachable and people will avoid you even though you are very successful. Be humble and remind yourself
