ENT 76: This is Exactly How You Master A Skill

Feb 25, 2020 E76 00:10:29

There is always room for improvement

Subscribe to the show and all the other subscribers thank you for listening

If you’re ever the smartest person in a room full of people, leave it. Fish bigger than the pond can’t swim in it. You’ll become stagnant and irrelevant if you spend too much time in a position without growth.

I remind myself every single day that I am a master of nothing. I constantly am finding areas that I need to improve and then looking for resources to improve in that area. Find your weakness and work on it.

Even if you are the greatest in the world at something, if you stop practicing and become stagnant, someone will eventually keep improving and overtake you.

ACTION STEP – Pull out a sticky note or notepad and write down what you’ve 100% mastered and that you don’t need to work on it anymore.
